Fall Flower Arrangement

Fall Flower Arrangements

I am so excited to team up with my friend Holly from Legally Crafty Blog to bring you two fall flower arrangements!

Holly is throwing an adorable fall themed party for her girlfriends and enlisted me for some floral help! After you create your centerpieces, head on over to her blog for some really cute party ideas!

UGG Flower Arrangement
One of Holly’s brilliant ideas was to create a centerpiece in her Ugg boots! How clever is that?  Watch the tutorial below for a simple way to put them together!

Supplies needed:

  • Cup
  • 3 sunflowers
  • 4 orange roses
  • 4 stems of purple alstroemeria
  • 3 red gerber daisies
  • A few pieces of wheat

To put this together, add the three sunflowers to the cup spacing them in a “triangle” shape. Add four orange roses then fill in with the alstroemeria.  The last step is to add the red gerber daisies between the sunflowers! Oh, and I added some dried wheat to make it a little extra. Then you just take the cup and put it into your shoe!

I will admit, I didn’t have any adult size Uggs, so these are my daughters. (How does she have more style than me?) So you may need to adjust the cup size depending on the size of your boots.

Simple Fall Centerpiece

And because one isn’t enough, I used my leftover flowers to create another simple centerpiece that would be great as the center of your long table with the two boots on either end. (I have a vision!)

For this I used the exact same flowers as the boot arrangement, but did add green hydrangeas.

Supplies needed:

  • Cup
  • 5 sunflowers
  • 6 orange roses
  • 8 stems of purple alstroemeria
  • 3 red gerber daisies

As always, start with your largest flower (in this case hydrangeas).  Once those created the base of the arrangement, I stared adding the flowers into the container.  I used the sunflowers to create a “square” around the vase, add your roses in between, next add the gerber daisies where there are “holes” and finish it off with the remaining alstroemeria!

I love how these turned out and especially love the whimsy of the boots!
