When it comes to Halloween, I feel like Jack-O-Lantern flowers are fitting for the occasion! I love how cute this looks on a table, but also how easy it is to put together!
If you feel intimidated by flowers, but want to try your hand at floral design, this is the arrangement to try! It is literally impossible to mess up.
I have a video tutorial below, but here are the supplies you need:
- Clear plant container from the dollar store
- One dozen orange roses
- Card stock cut out of a Jack-O-Lantern’s face (see description below)
To put this together, I just took a clear plant container (I think that is what is called) from Dollar Tree and filled it with water. I added a dozen orange roses to the container and cut the stems super short – about an inch to an inch and a half – and just had them float in the container. (This makes them last forever because they are next to impossible to wilt.) I just google searched a jack o’lantern and printed it on card stock and cut out the eyes, nose and mouth and then just made a green stem from construction paper and laid it on top of the arrangement. Super simple.
The great thing about this arrangement is that it lasts forever and can easily be made early! It makes a perfect centerpiece for a Halloween party or is a fun gift to give a friend, neighbor or teacher!
