Halloween Cheese Board
One of my go-to appetizers is always cheese. (I mean everyone loves cheese, right? Unless you’re lactose intolerant…in which case, I am sorry!) So in anticipation of fall, I created this very simple Halloween cheese board. I love that it requires absolutely no skill to create this (ahem) and is a great for kids and adults.
The only special tools required are some fall cookie cutters, which can obviously do double duty for their intended use. Here are the ones I purchased:
The next steps are super, super easy!
First, grab yourself some cheese slices. I used Swiss, sharp cheddar, colby jack and mozzarella. I just used the cutters and cut the shapes out and used the excess in my kids’ lunches (#nowaste #teachersthinkimcrazy). Have fun with your arrangement on the tray!
For the rest of the tray, I used some crackers (specifically Triscuits, but any will work), apple cider jam from Trader Joe’s (AMAZING), nuts and olives.
Because I wanted the olives to be a little extra, I just inserted some of my kids candy googly eyes in them and they made a really fun addition to the tray. So cute!
The whole process took maybe 10 minutes to put together from start to finish, so it is definitely an easy setup!
