I love a gift that can do double duty and this pitcher centerpiece is one of them! This makes a great hostess gift, mother’s day gift or birthday gift because once the flowers are gone, they still have a beautiful container that they can use!
I picked this vase up in Arkansas at Euna Mae’s, but they don’t have it online. (I did find it on Amazon here.) It is a great piece to use both as a vase and as a pitcher for a party or event…or even on your bedside table!
To make this arrangement, I just used a mix of spring flowers I picked up at Trader Joe’s:
- Two stems of cream spray roses
- Three pink roses
- Three ranunculus blooms
In the video below, you can see how I put it together.
The container is pretty small, so this doesn’t need a lot of flowers. I started with the cream spray roses, then filled in with the pink roses and, lastly, added some pink ranunculus in. It was a perfectly delicate arrangement that makes for a perfect gift!
Flower Tip: When creating small bouquets like this, remember that it’s okay to cut the stems short. The buds of the flowers rest at the lip of the container, so the stems can’t be too long! You can always go shorter, so if you try it and it still looks too long, it’s okay to trim them to fit perfectly!
